Caught in the Rain

Infiltration is only played if the investigation roll is 4+. The scene ends after Acquisition unless a threat is present, in which case you still have to Escape. Succeeding at a stage raises danger by 1.

When an investigation scene ends with threats still in play, one becomes a rival (p.50). On a 1–3 you get a new threat; on a 4–6 the threat is a rival instead. A defeated rival is removed and grants a keyword.

Every table in the book is rolled with 1d66 — roll two six-sided dice and read them left to right. A 2 and a 3 is 23, not 5. Ask me to roll and I will; the result is on the die, not chosen.
